First impressions count

Getting a potential buyer to have a look at your property in this type of climate means that you are onto a good thing, so why do so many viewings fail to end up in a sale? The main reason is the first impression, as soon as a potential buyer sees the property, they virtually know there and then whether they are interested or not.

Yet many sellers could be turning these potential buyers off, by making some very fundamental errors, such as not tidying up or leaving some decorating unfinished, simple things like this can mean that the buyers walk away.

What needs to be looked at?
Hiding potential
Not making an effort
Not defining spaces.
Out-dated décor
Showing a dirty space
Forgetting the first impression is outside
Making viewings difficult
Being sentimental
Allowing smells to linger
Unfinished DIY
