Country houses near bottom prices

Large country houses are never really affected by the market fluctuations in the same way that other properties are, this is because these houses are few and far between and when one eventually does come onto the market, there are plenty of buyers willing to take them on.

However, in these market conditions there has been a difference in the market, with the price of these country houses falling by sixteen per cent during last year. In fact, these properties dropped in price by nine per cent in the final quarter of the year.

Nevertheless, despite these dramatic losses, it is expected that country houses are likely to remain at their current price levels, simply because of the limited supply of this type of property and the fact that prices are more attractive now than this time last year.
