Are there bargains in the UK?
The UK property market use to be a favourite hunting ground for Irish investors looking for a good deal, it has to be because the differences between Ireland and the UK are very slim and many people have connections in both camps.
However, you would have thought that in the current climate, this trend would have slowed down to almost nothing, but it may not be the case. This is because there are signs that there are still property investors coming over from Ireland to snap up some bargains.
The problem now is that as investors finally see that there could be opportunities, for sellers and the market itself this is bad news, because Irish investors do not intend to pay the asking price and so therefore, the prices of property will continue to fall.
