Village put up for sale

As unbelievable as is it may sound, an entire village has been put up for sale. Most people may have thought that this sort of thing did not occur in this day and age, but clearly, there are although the owners of the village happens to be a charitable trust.

Linkenholt is a standard English village sitting in the North Wessex Downs; it includes twenty two houses, cricket pavilion, manor house and the village shop, all within a two thousand acre estate.

The asking price has been set at around £22 million, and whoever buys this unusual piece of the English countryside will get everything including a blacksmiths, shooting business and an educational centre.

The Herbert and Peter Blagrave Charitable Trust was set up to provide funds for disabled children and injured jockeys, they are selling up in order to reinvest into other things.
