Buying off plan
This type of investment has to be one of the more risky ways of buying property, true there are some great deals to be had. But the success of a development depends on many factors all working out. If one fails then the whole thing could go belly up and everyone loses.
In order not to fall foul of these problems an investor needs to take a good look at who and what is involved.
This includes finding out about:
The Developer
The Constructor
The Agents
The Banks
The other investors
All of these need to work in harmony right down to the investors, if there are not enough, then there could be problems ahead for the few people who have put their money into the project.
