Island made from recycled materials

With the property market the way it is at the moment, some people are looking for alternative way of finding somewhere to live, this may mean going abroad or even finding some way that they could utilise different materials.

Which is exactly what one man has done just off the coast of Mexico he built an island, which was floating, had a two storey home, solar power and all of the other amenities like you would expect to find on any desert island.

There is one thing that I should mention, the reason why this island floats, is because the main part of the island is made from recycled plastic bottles and other materials. One slight problem is the original was destroyed, but there are plans to build a bigger and better island which will float again but this time will travel around the world!
